Hello I’m Ferry, a born & bred Amsterdammer.
These days I live in Almere with my beautiful wife Ellen & our cat.
By choice, I work by myself & for myself.
This provides me with flexibility on the jobs I commit to.
Generally speaking, no job is too big or too small.
I speak fluent English (& Dutch of course), so there is no risk of important issues being ‘lost in translation’.
After 30 years in the business, I recognise that the client’s needs are paramount & attention to detail is so important.
If there is a gap in my skills, I can involve colleagues across my network to work with me to deliver the result you desire.

Bathroom overhaul or just new tiles / shower fixtures? No problem. Maybe you have ordered a new kitchen & need the installation? Sure can do. Replacing appliances? Why not.

Anything wood is my specialty, I love sanding, polishing, staining & varnishing. Our Dutch front doors are world famous for their high gloss paint. What’s not to love. Old wood, new wood, love it & live it.
Custom, Bespoke Installations
Whether you need wallpaper hung, stairs repaired, handrails installed, furniture made to fit your space, new lights installed in ‘hard to get to spaces’, you name it, I can do it (mostly). Dakterras? Also possible.

We met Ferry 8 years ago when he came to lay some flooring at our Hillegom office. Since then he has worked on both our houses, first in Amsterdam & then Haarlem. With Ferry’s help, our monument Jordaan house went from nightmare to sold (as soon as we listed it). He helped us with all aspects of bringing it up to standard.
A new bathroom, a renovated kitchen, repairs to the plumbing, the stairs, new wallpaper, new double glazing. There is nothing this man cannot do. He is thoughtful, innovative & knows everything about building.
We wish we had known him back home. He’s a genius in building. Everyone needs a ‘Ferry’ 🙂
